Urban lifestyle means you live far away from your root. Perhaps they live in other city, other state, or other country or even in other continents. Some people love other people's culture, and would to add just a bit this part of culture into their home. Why don't you use cushion to take a part?
Here is cushions cover with Chinese alphabet I found in Indonesia. The seller who understands the meaning of the alphabet told me, that it is a poem, an old old classic poem in China. Talk about a night when the full moon that seen from a window. Sounds calming.
